What division do I need to select?

At Morehead City Little League we offer a variety of Spring baseball programs to accommodate youth players ages 3-12.  Our Program Descriptions can be found here.

When does the season start?

Our Spring season begins with assessments for players in Rookie, Minor and Major divisions on February11th and 16th.  Opening ceremonies is scheduled for March 11th, which marks the official start of the season.  The season normally runs until the first week of June.

For Fall baseball our season usually begins the second week of September through the first week of November.

When should I hear from my child's coach.

Depending on the division your child is participating in, after teams are assembled you should hear from your coach about your first practice based on the following dates by division:

Major:  The week after February 21
Minor:  The week after February  22
Rookie, Jr Rookie and T-Ball:  The week after March 1

*Jr. Rookie and T-Ball registration runs longer so players may be added and teams not fully formed by the date initially indicated

What is needed to Coach or Volunteer?

If you are considering being a coach or volunteer, look for the link within the 'Registration Info' tab above.  After this is completed, be on the lookout for an email from Morehead City Little League that will have a link to fill out a JDP background check.  This is required by Little League International.  The link expires 7 days after it is sent.
