With that being said, as part of MHCLL's commitment to our families, our goal is to provide a fun and safe environment for all participants while also ensuring that we are providing the best experience and serving as positive examples in developing our children.
Team Manager (i.e., Head Coach) and Assistant Coach Opportunities
With a record number of registrants in the 2025 Spring season and 2025 Fall Ball season, for 2026 we are expecting a significant need for team managers (i.e., head coaches) and assistant coaches. If you have interest, we require that ALL of our team managers and coaches complete the JDP Application. Please note that this online application is a Little League International Annual Required back-ground check.
If you are considering being a coach or volunteer, look for the link within the 'Registration Info' tab above. After this is completed, be on the lookout for an email from Morehead City Little League that will have a link to fill out a JDP background check. This is required by Little League International. The link expires 7 days after it is sent.
Along with the Mandatory Background Check, LL International will now require all volunteers to complete an online Abuse Awareness Training program, provided by USA Baseball, or a comparable training program. USA Baseball’s BASE Abuse Awareness Training is a FREE online training that is SafeSport-compliant.
